◆ how this is measured
A cron inside the API server probes itself, the web app heartbeat, and the database every 60 seconds. Each probe writes one row to health_checks. Latency percentiles cover the last 24 hours; uptime % covers the last 90 days. Probes that can't even start (DNS / network failure) are recorded with a null latency and counted as down.
